Heavy Heart

I'm here for my yearly post. :/ Unfortunately, there's not much new to report for my family. Children are still growing, Robert and I are still aging. Schooling is going fine, though our oldest is getting ready to enter public high school in the fall. He wants to attend a school focused on IT, and his entrance exam is coming up next month.

The events in eastern Europe are heavy on my heart this week. Trying to understand the mentality of a power hungry man . . . . trying to find ways to help Christians in the Ukraine and Moldova . . . . being reminded that evil is alive and well in this world. Please pray for all the people of the Ukraine and surrounding countries. Some have asked if we are safe. At this time, we're fine and see no reason to fear direct problems from Russia. The CZ is a NATO country, and we are rather far from the war zone. Having said that, I have no idea what insanity the Russians have in store for the world. :( Some have also asked if we know of any way to help Christians in the war-torn areas. At this time, I don't know of any immediate needs other than fervent prayers. I will post if I find out otherwise.

I pray for peace, but more importantly I pray for the Lord to come quickly.
